Kamana International College (KIC) is running the Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) programme affiliated with Tribhuvan University. KIC follows a practical and modern teaching-learning methodology based on field visits, seminars, workshops, research activities, and the use of advanced technologies such as audio-visual aids, overhead projectors, multimedia, and PowerPoint presentations. Choosing KIC for graduate studies can be both a life-defining and career-defining decision. The programme provides knowledge about teamwork, communication skills, cooperative education, and project work.
The college also offers academic excellence, career counseling, internship opportunities, workshops, project work, classes from visiting professors and experts, and supplementary classes for needy students.
Objectives:
The programme aims to provide an understanding of the concepts, principles, methods, and practices of social and business work. It helps students develop the ability to utilize service systems effectively and enhance problem-solving skills in professional practice. The programme also focuses on developing sensitivity, respect for individuals, freedom, justice, equality, fellowship, and commitment to the profession.
Practical Exposure:
For practical learning, the college places students in different Human Service Organizations, NGOs, and INGOs to gain professional exposure. Students are required to participate in at least ten hours of fieldwork per week. They are expected to identify and work with different practice systems while applying various problem-solving techniques in real-life situations.
