Kamana International College successfully organized the “Sailung Rural Camp and Kalinchock Visit” for Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) students as part of its practical learning and field-based educational activities. The program was designed to provide students with real-life exposure to rural communities, social environments, cultural diversity, and teamwork experiences beyond classroom education.

The rural camp at Sailung offered students a valuable opportunity to interact closely with local communities and understand rural lifestyles, traditions, social structures, and community development practices. Through observation, communication, and participation in various social activities, students gained practical insights into social work, leadership, cooperation, and community engagement.

During the visit, students explored the beautiful natural landscapes and cultural richness of the Sailung region while developing stronger interpersonal relationships and teamwork skills. The peaceful environment and scenic surroundings created a memorable learning experience filled with adventure, interaction, and personal growth.

The educational trip also included a visit to the famous Kalinchowk Bhagwati Temple, one of Nepal’s popular religious and tourist destinations known for its breathtaking Himalayan views and spiritual significance. Students enjoyed the natural beauty, snow-covered hills, and cultural atmosphere of Kalinchock, making the tour both educational and refreshing.

The program aimed to strengthen students’ practical understanding of social work while encouraging responsibility, discipline, communication, and social awareness. Faculty members and college representatives guided students throughout the journey, ensuring safety, coordination, and meaningful participation in all activities.

Kamana International College continues to organize educational tours, field visits, rural camps, and experiential learning programs to enhance students’ academic knowledge, social understanding, and personal development.
